Abstract

The carbon dioxide laser has been widely and in laryngeal microscopic surgery. Because laser beams produce good hemostasis of small blood vessles, minimal production of postoperative edema, rapid healing minimal scar formation, the surgical
precision
and preservation of normal tissues. But it can ignite plastic endotracheal tube and the result may bring fatal outcome to the patient.
